Entry 27 : Please Don't Waste My Time, Time, Time, Time, Time

Hey.
What's up?
I slept pretty early last night.
The goings on in KMJ have been kind of tiring and I certainly felt the effects.
I had one of the most aggravating, boring, tiring and absolutely the most wasteful time of my life yesterday, Friday, 19/11/2010.

It all started the night before.
On Thursday night, I had to do my Tutorials for Biology and Maths.
I did do them and finished around 2AM.
I did them at my friends room since I couldn't concentrate in mine.
I went back to my room and remembered that I had to wash my clothes.
Luckily, I could since the machine was unoccupied.
Then, I had to pack my clothes.
Being me, I fuss too much on outfits and that's what made a 5-minute procedure into a 30-minute chore.
So I finished doing everything at about 3AM.
I went to bed, laid my head and straight away fell asleep.

The next thing I knew, my roommate woke me up at 7AM.
I didn't even dream a thing!
And that was something that should not happen often.
Because, without dreams, I don't feel like I slept.
I hate just blacking out and suddenly wake up.
Where's the fun in that?!
But that's what happened and my head so heavy that morning I couldn't think straight.

I had to endure half a day of sleepiness, headache and a big dose of crankiness.
Good thing nobody got on my nerve because if someone did, they wouldn't live to eat lunch.
Classes ended at 12PM.
After lunch I straight away got showered.
My bags were already packed and all that was left to do was go for Friday prayer and later get changed and go straight down to the loading bay.
Okay, well, not "loading bay" but the place where we were all supposed to board the buses.

The funny thing was, I actually went to Friday prayer when I could just combine Zuhur and Asar together.
That would be WAY easier and better since if I did do that, I could wait to board the bus earlier than everyone else.
And that's what lead to me actually departing from KMJ at 4PM when everybody else went back at 2PM, the earliest.
WHAT THE HECK, right?
I had to wait 2 full hours before the LAST bus of them all actually arrived to pick us up.
I was supposed to get home early so I could send my mom to the airport.
She was going away with my brother to Turkey for work and stuff.
Thank God I got home in time to do so.

I went down to wait or board the bus on time, at 2PM.
When I got to the parking lot in front of Block F, the place was fully packed with dudes and dudettes and buses.
Most of the buses were already full with people!
Who knows what did and didn't do to get on the bus even before 2PM.
Every bus to JB was packed and every time a new bus came, a herd of people eager to get home chased the bus everywhere it went, as if the bus was some sort of grand prize.
I was part of the herd but as I wasn't one without a civic conscience, I had to let the others who didn't have it on the bus.

There was pushing, shoving, shouting, cursing and most of all climbing.
Oh, well.
I thought that I didn't have to wait long before another bus came and took us all back home but every time a bus did come, that same herd would be chasing and what was funny was that the herd never shrunk in size.
It did, though and I was left with Izzul and the rest of the dudes and dudettes, stranded in an almost empty college.

Izzul was phenomenal, though, throughout the whole bus chasing event.
He already got on the FIRST bus back to JB but he got down because I couldn't get on the bus as well.
His act out of compassion and sympathy made my day and I was happy that he actually stayed and accompanied me till the last bus came.
We've been friends throughout the passage of Religious School days and hadn't met since 2004 until we were reunited in KMJ this year.

So, after 2 hours of waiting, after 2 hours of sweating bolts and after 2 hours of being frustrated by the sheer unluckiness of myself and others, I finally got on the bus back to JB at 4PM.
Got home, picked my mom and brothers and straight away sent her to the airport in Senai, after stopping to pray at Petronas.

What a day it was.
Hopefully the next time I need to get home by bus won't be as hellish as that.
I'm home till Monday and I do hope that I get to see my friends and go out and do stuff for the remaining of this "long" weekend.
