Entry 35 : In the Hoot

Hey, guys.
So this entry will be dedicated to my beloved roommates, the residents of ASA1.17, KMJ.

Last weekend, my roommates and I rearranged our room and now it looks something like this:

Originally, all our beds and all our desks were separated and our room was divided into two parts, where two people were on one side and the other two on the other.
My side was occupied by me alone as our previous roommate had moved out long ago.
We actually decided to move around our stuff because we thought that a change was in prospect and that we need to lighten things up a bit.
And when we did, personally, I felt the love.

One of my roommates, Chin, was the first to express his delight after the rearrangement.
He loved the fact that we did everything together; studying, sleeping, talking and stuff.
Without the boundaries of our lockers in the middle of the room, and now that our desks were all conjoined, we could actually communicate with each other easier.
It's awesome, how the three of us, Amad, Chin and I, have bonded through the mere months we've been together.

Just the other day, Chin also expressed how our Matriculation program was ending soon.
I told him that it was too soon to be talking about sad stuff like that, but I've also been thinking about the same thing for a quite a while.
It's going to be really emotional once the day for all of us to part comes.

Chin wasn't our original roommate at first.
He had to move down from the 4th floor because the Two Year Program (PDT) students moved up.
Since the first day he moved in, we gelled straight away.
There's a lot of things about him that I really like.
His taste in music, his sense of humor, his lack of sensibility sometimes and mostly his personality that shines are some of the things that make him very lovable (I am so not gay, though).
He's a very smart dude, and he doesn't like doing stuff that makes him exert a little bit of extra energy unless he decides to.
He gets annoyed a lot, especially by Amad, but he never seizes to make my days feel a lot more special.

Amad's a little different from Chin.
He's the first guy I met when I first checked into the room.
He was a small guy then, no taller than my brother.
But he's grown a lot over the months in KMJ and that is very noticeable, except by him.
He studies mostly at the mosque so his nights in the room are mostly for sleeping.
His traits are somewhat of mine and Chin's, whereby we all love music, girls and laughter.
He works extra hard in his studies and comes back to the room no later than 1AM.
He says he doesn't do much and that he's kind of held back on stuff but I'm sure he's capable of another great result.

Chin, Amad and I all got 4.00 for our CGPA last semester.
It was awesome, the fact that everyone in the room got the same awesome result.
And now we're striving for the same kind of excellence (if not better) for our PSPM2, the Finals of all Finals.
We have somewhat one month together, which is super duper sad news.
It's been an awesome experience living with them.
Sharing a room hasn't been more fun and I couldn't have asked for better roommates.
I hope that we all get to achieve our dreams and get into the university of our desire.

I'm applying for UTM and so is Chin.
I'll be doing Maths and Chin will be doing Marine Engineering, hopefully.
Amad's also doing Maths but maybe in Education.
Hopefully we'll all get into UTM, so we can always hang out like we always do.

This entry was purposely written so that I get to express my love, appreciation and admiration for my fellow roommates.
I don't know what my life in KMJ would have been should I be given another set of roommates.
Thanks, Chin.
Thanks, Amad.
I'll remember you guys forever.
Seriously.

Here's a song we're all hooked on and as usual, the reason for my title as above.
Chin and his groups of friends (Temperature) are super avid fans of SNSD and recently, Amad and I have been super exposed to SNSD songs, videos, photos and all kinds of stuff.
I haven't listened to K-Pop or J-Pop in a long time, so listening to the songs again made me feel kind of excited.
The song here is Hoot by SNSD or Girls' Generation.
Until next time, people.
Annyeong!
