Entry 91 : The 18-200 Challenge

Hello, everyone.
Rejoice!
Because it's finally October again~

I had a wonderful September; I went to MTV World Stage, I started my A PHOTO A DAY project and the new semester isn't too bad, also.
Now that it's October, I'm looking forward to more great moments and happiness~
Also, I decided to create a challenge for myself; THE 18-200 CHALLENGE.
This coincides with my A PHOTO A DAY routine, where every day, I will take photos of things that grab my interest or things that sum up my day.
Only now, I'll strictly use my:
AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II (photo by Nikon)

Nikon D7100 + 18-200 VR II

So, what difference would it make?
Well, up until now, only one of my A PHOTO A DAY photos was shot with the 18-200 VR II lens (#7), where every other photo was taken with the:

AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G (photo by Nikon)

Nikon D7100 + 35 f/1.8G

The 35 f/1.8G is a prime lens with a fixed a focal length of 35mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.8, which simply means I can't zoom in or out and it lets in a lot of light.
With this lens, I would have to move around a lot (to get closer/further from the subject) and in low-light conditions, I would be able to take clearer photos.
Also, it's very small and light, so bringing it around wouldn't look too intimidating.
There are also more aspects of it that make it my current favorite lens but I don't want to get too technical.

However, because I've been using this lens so much, I feel that my 18-200 VR II lens has been neglected.
Therefore, with this challenge, I aim to practice more with it.
Here's a little example of what it means to have all-around range versatility:

18mm (wide)

200mm (telephoto)

Alrighty then!
I'll continue being on the lookout for more stuff to shoot and share so do keep a lookout for THE FEAR, as well!
There are lots more events going on as the end of the year draws near so I hope I'll be able to provide some coverage on those, as well.
Here's to an awesome October.
God bless.
