Hello, there!
Remember when I said I should rename it to "A PHOTO A WEEK"?
Well, it's been two week since I last did it so now it should be "A PHOTO A FORTNIGHT".
The fact is I haven't been venturing out much these days.
Of course, I was in Singapore for two weekends in a row for events, but even so I didn't carry out my street photography routine.
I guess the momentum's been obstructed ever since the school semester started.
But I'll really need to look out for more things now that my Photography class assignments have started.
However, today, I did get one shot that I really like and want to share:
This is Faiz, one of my closest friends.
We've known each other since I started school back in 1999 but started to really get close in 2004, when we were 12.
Today was his graduation day.
He'd finished his Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering with a Dean's Award from UTM.
He is the first of all the Sign brothers to graduate and I'm really proud of him.
Congratulations, bro!
I actually asked him out so I could have a bit of a photoshoot with him in his robe but it was raining outside so we couldn't.
I had to settle with an indoor shot of us at Starbucks.
One thing I have to say about this photo is that I kind of cheated because I used a 35mm prime instead of the 18-200 I was supposed to use this month.
I'm not proud of it but what's done is done.
