Legendary artist, Rain (Bi) is set to perform on March 29th
Rain is no stranger to K-pop fans worldwide, whose lavish career also saw him break into the Hollywood industry with a lead role in Ninja Assassin.
His recent comeback with 30 Sexy and La Song reminded junior idols who the real boss was and Rain looks to be pushing his limits to new heights.
The organizers have announced the second artist to perform at TTA:
British singer-songwriter, Craig David set to perform on March 28th
Craig David has won numerous awards for his musical talent and has been nominated for a Grammy award twice.
His vast experience in the music industry will prove to be a show-stopper at TTA this year.
On February 13th, the organizers, Live@Work held a special press conference at Shangri-La Hotel to announce the additional artistes that would add to the truly spectacular line-up of this year's biggest event yet.
For the first time ever, a true music goddess will grace Malaysia with her powerhouse vocals and everlasting beauty.
Behold, headliner of the first night for TTA:
International superstar, Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera is a 5-time Grammy Award winner, whose big break was with her first album and first dance/pop single, "Genie In A Bottle" along with other chart toppers including "What A Girl Wants" and "Come On Over".
Being the only artist under 30 years old to be featured in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of 100 Greatest Singers of all time, Christina has expanded her repertoire to not only singing but also songwriting, producing, directing and acting.
Over the past two decades, Christina Aguilera has proven to be one of the most accomplished performers to still be active till today.
Besides that, this year, more local artists will also share the stage with the aforementioned superstars, including our very own rap icon:
Joe Flizzow
Other acts set to heat up the stage are Altimet, SonaOne, Ila Damiaa, DJ Biggie, Oh Chentaku and DJ Irama, all currently setting the standards in the local music industry and making a name for themselves on the international frontier.
If you thought that's all, you certainly thought wrong!
The organizers assured us that there will be more international artistes that will be revealed soon, which will include other big names.
This year, music lovers will bask in the myriad of genre that will be presented through the concert, ranging from pop, rock, R&B to hip hop.
This variety contributes to the uniqueness of this year's edition of Twin Towers @Live.
We are all dying to know who else will be revealed soon.
Nothing's for sure, but I'm certain the next name will be just as awesome as Christina Aguilera, Rain and also Joe Flizzow!
On another note, I was the OFFICIAL photographer for Live@Work (event organizers) at the press conference, gaining unrestricted access to the venue and its participants.
It was truly a blessing to be given the opportunity to shoot such a prestigious event and I only have God and the people at Live@Work to thank.

Non-other than the 80s pop disco sensation, Rick Astley
I assure you this is not an attempt at rick-rolling anyone!
Rick Astley set a name in the music industry with his debut single “Never Gonna Give You Up” in 1987, where the then 21 year-old became a sensation overnight.
The single topped charts in 17 different countries and paved a successful string of hits, earning him the title of the ONLY male solo artist to have his first 8 singles reach the Top 10 in the UK till today.
The British singer was also nominated for a Grammy Award for his debut album "Whenever You Need Somebody" in 1988.
Honestly, I am very excited to see Rick in Malaysia on March 29th.
Evidently, the organizers are really broadening their audience range this year and I believe everyone of all ages will be able to enjoy the concert.
As I mentioned to the organizers, I was indeed shocked to see Rick being added to the list.
Shocked in a good way, that is.

I am very intrigued to see who else will come and bestow upon us their musical talent and grace.
Indeed, they will never give you up nor let you down.

Right after they announced that Rick Astley is going to perform at TTA, the organizers revealed two more set of artists that will join the eclectic line-up of superstars:
American rock band, Lifehouse set to perform on March 28th
Lifehouse is a very famous and successful band from America whose first album "No Name Face" sold 2.5 million copies worldwide.
They continued their streak of chart-topping hits such as my own all-time favorites "You & Me" and "Hanging By A Moment" and other hits, which collectively sold a whopping 15 million records.
The popularity of "Hanging By A Moment" earned the song a place in Billboard Magazine's Song Of The Year in 2000 and was also featured in numerous TV series and films.
British singer-songwriter, Sam Dowden with Sam Mayo and Ed Humphreys
Sam Dowden, a talented young artist from England, released his first album "Out Of The Blue" in 2012.
This artist, who BBC has recently reckoned as "one of the best singer-songwriters" alongside James Morrison, writes songs that are melodic and unique that harmonise well with his gentle yet powerful voice.
The artist is currently on his UK tour and will be joined by Sam Mayo and Ed Humphreys who promise to deliver an amazing performance come March 29th.
With the addition of Lifehouse and Sam Dowden Trio, TTA now has 13 artists in their line-up, including seven of our finest.
The countdown to TTA has started and I, for one, am already starting to feel the jitters.
Twin Towers @Live 2014 is shaping up to be a mind-blowing event and will definitely set the standard to future events both locally and internationally.
