I just received word that Taeyang of "Kings of K-pop" boy group BIGBANG will stop in Malaysia for his first ever world tour!

In return to the fans who have bought the concert tickets, 500 lucky VIP and Rock zone ticket holders will be selected to watch Taeyang Sound Check Party; while 10 lucky VIP ticket holders will stand a chance to get up close and personal with Taeyang at the ‘Meet & Greet’ and photography session.
Lucky winners will be drawn by the organizer based on tickets’ barcode number.
Five hundred (500) pieces of the Taeyang [RISE] World Tour edition will be released RM50 each, which is unavailable at music stores.

- Venue: Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur
- Time: 6.30PM
IME Prodcutions (Malaysia organizer) stated that they had spent up to RM 1.5 million of the production fee to bring over Seoul concert’s high specification production and stage effects for all the fans in Malaysia.
As many as 200 staff from both Korea and Malaysia production crew will be on duty to present the best audio and visual experiences to the fans in Malaysia.
Furthermore, the organizers are pulling all the stops to make Taeyang's concert one of the most immersive shows ever by dividing the stage walkway into various areas.
Hence, enabling Taeyang to have a closer distance with his fans.

PROFILE
Dong Young-bae, born May 18th 1988, or better known by his stage name Taeyang (meaning Sun) or Sol, is a South Korean singer-songwriter.
After his first appearance in the entertainment industry in Jinusean's music video A-yo, Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12.
After six years of training, he debuted in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band, BIGBANG.
Taeyang's 2nd solo album Rise, unveiled in June this year, swept across music chart all over the world.
Rise peaked at #112 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, becoming the highest ranking album by a Korean soloist.
His title track Eyes, Nose, Lips ranked #1 on Korea Gaon’s Karaoke Chart for 9 weeks in a row; the longest anyone has been there.
The song also peaked at #1 on Billboard K-pop Hot 100 Chart, giving Taeyang his first solo #1 single on the chart.
