PROFILE
Christina Judith Perri is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Philadelphia.
She debuted with Jar of Hearts, which was featured on the Fox television show So You Think You Can Dance in 2010 subsequently earning the song on the charts.
It went on to sell over 3 million copies in the United States and was a worldwide hit.
A few months later, Christina released her first EP, The Ocean Way Sessions.
After gaining attention for Jar of Hearts, she signed a record deal with Atlantic Records.
Her debut album, Lovestrong - an album that portrayed Christina as an honest, genuine artist - was released in 2011, which earned her an iTunes' "Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011" award..
In 2012, she wrote and performed the 4x-platinum single A Thousand Years for Summit Entertainment/Chop Shop/Atlantic’s
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn –Part 1&2-Original Motion Picture Soundtracks.
This single further expanded her fanbase and has solidified her place in the music industry.
Her second album, Head or Heart, was released just last year with the lead single, Human.
