Entry 224 : tvN Movies Launch + Ji Changwook's Fabricated City Press Tour

On Saturday, I was invited to the launch of HyppTV's newest channel: tvN Movies. tvN Movies is the "World's First & Only" Korean blockbuster movie channel, where viewers will be entertained with non-stop films featuring famous actors and actresses.

In conjunction with the launching event, up-and-coming Korean actor and male lead of Fabricated City Ji Changwook was flown to Malaysia for a press tour and gala premiere of his debut feature film. He sat down with the media for a brief interview session (pre-made questions) and treated lucky winners of HyppTV's "Meet Ji Changwook" i-contest to a photo & hi-touch session.

A little bit about Fabricated City: Hardcore gamer Kwon Yu wastes his life away playing video games at internet cafes. But after he returns a lost phone, he is arrested and given life imprisonment for sexually assaulting and murdering a minor. With the help of his online teammates, he has a chance to clear his name. As they dig into his case, they uncover a massive plot and a shadowy organization that puts innocent people to prison on behalf of powerful men in the country.
